Site: This is the name of the site where the search results are listed (except in the case of Inktomi and Direct Hit which only serve results to other sites).

Main results: These are the results that show up in the body of the first page (and possibly subsequent pages) of results. A number of paid listings will sometimes show above them.

Paid results: These are results that are paid for by advertisers, generally in a bid model. Sometimes, paid results are also the main listings.

Fill results: These are listings that show if after the main results, or if no main results exist for a search.

Directory results: These are listings that show in a directory format. Sometimes, directory listings are also the main listings.
